Health Protection Practices

  1. Upon arrival, Client(s) and Mobile Notary will refrain from any physical contact such as handshakes while keeping a healthy 6 ft. distance at all times.

  2. Both the Mobile Notary and Client(s) will be required to use hand sanitizer at the start and finish of each signing. Hand sanitizer will be made available by the Mobile Notary. Otherwise handwashing may be required. All bags and notarial equipment will be disinfected before and after every signing. Pens furnished by the Mobile Notary will be discarded after the signing ceremony is concluded.

  3. We ask that any Client showing or experiencing any symptoms of a cold or who feels they have been exposed to a virus to please reschedule. The Mobile Notary may take your temperature upon arrival. All parties present are requested and required to wear a protective face covering.

  4. The Mobile Notary reserves the right to conduct the signing ceremony outdoors, e.g., at a park picnic table, front porch, open garage/carport or other area that helps to minimize virus exposure.

  5. Clients may be asked to sign a declaration that, to the best of their knowledge, they are not currently afflicted with, and have not knowingly within the last 14 days, been in contact with someone afflicted with a virus; they are not experiencing a fever, or signs of respiratory illness such as a cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, or exhibit any other viral symptoms; and further, (i) they understand that persons may be afflicted with a virus and not exhibit symptoms, (ii) that persons may not be aware that they are afflicted, or, (iii) that persons may not voluntarily agree to disclose their condition. The declaration document will be provided by the Mobile Notary Signing Agent who shall also sign.
